The 9th Malaysian National Haematology Scientific Meeting will be held in Pullman Kuching, Kuching, Malaysia, from 29th April to 1st May 2011.  It is organised by the Malaysia Society of Haematology Society. 

The theme of the meeting this year is “Advancing Haematology in the Community”.

An exciting scientific programme is being prepared with acute leukaemia, stem cell issues, lymphoma, plasma cell dyscrasiae and myeloproliferative neoplasms being the major topics. In accordance with the official theme, common problems that are encountered by doctors in the community setting such as anaemia, venous thromboembolism and autoimmune diseases also feature prominently in this year's programme. In addition, there will be separate nursing and laboratory symposia led by both local and regional speakers. In short, there will be something for everyone and the organiser has endeavoured to cover most pertinent haematology issues.
