The 13th World Reunion of Nanyang University Alumni Association is organised by the Sarawak Nanyang University Alumni Association and BiE is the appointed Professional Conference Manager for the said function.

The Bi-Annual World Nanyang University Alumni Association is a global event for former students and graduates of Nanyang University, affectionately called Nantah.
A good number of the alumni associations at various places over the world have been formed to foster better relationships and understanding among the Nantah Alumni through participation of academic, sports, games, social and recreational activities.
The World Reunion of Nanyang University Alumni Association was previously organised in Malaysia (Penang, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, and Miri), Singapore, Bali, Hong Kong, Beijing, Melbourne, Vancouver, and Toronto.

Delegates participating in the global reunion affair consist of prominent scholars, businessmen, doctors, scientists, professors, academicians, lawyers, and others from Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Australia, and even as far off as Toronto, Canada.

The Activities

Activities for the 13th Global Reunion of Nanyang University Alumni Association will include:

Event Objectives

• Reunion gathering of former Nanyang University students / graduates;
  
• Development and advancement of former Nanyang University students through extensive, reliable, and sustainable business networking or potential investors for Malaysia;
  
• Enhancement of former Nanyang University students’ social contribution;
  
• Setting standards for higher education and social development;
  
• Study of solutions for critical world issues, particularly challenges pertaining to the global economy and technology advancement.

Bidding for the 13th Global Reunion of Nanyang University Alumni Association

The Sarawak Nanyang University Alumni Association successfully won the bid for the 13th Global Reunion affair to be held here in Kuching, Malaysia in Year 2012.

On 12th July 2011, a Flag Ceremony was held to officially handover the co-ordination of the function from the previous committee (Perak) to new Kuching organising committee.

The flag ceremony was witnessed by Chairman of the Sarawak Nanyang University Alumni Association, Mr. Lee Fook Onn, and the Organising Chairman of the 13th Global Reunion of Nanyang University Alumni Association, Mr. Lee Khim Sin, Mr. Soo Mak Leong, Chairman of the Penang Nanyang University Alumni Association, Mr. Chew Chin Hee, Chairman of the Perak Nanyang University Alumni Association, former Organising Chairmen of past global reunions as well as former Secretary Generals of the alumni association.
